1. Choose kimono

Select number of dresses to rent, 40 US$ per person, suitable for woman, man, and child.
2. Share preference

On the booking form, you're asked of your preferred total budget (around 150 US$ on average), number of expected photos, preferred shooting date and duration (1, 2, 3 hour), in order for us to find the best photographer for the job.
3. Settle payment onine

You can safely settle fees via Stripe ahead of the shoot to confirm the booking. Snapper only get remitted until full delivery of gallery; in case of no-show, 100% refund on us.
4. Edits included

15 edited images available online within 7 days.

Please note:
  • Rentals are for a full-day, even if suprassing the duration of the photoshoot. Please be reminded to return kimono at leat 30 minutes before store's clossing.
  • For safety reason, please notice that we cannot put Kimono on customers in pregnancy
  • You can change your clothes at the store for your Kimono dressing. If you cannot return the Kimono before the closing time for reception, please return it on the following day. We offer optional services: returning Kimono on the following day and at another store etc.
What to expect
Our kimono plans is fancy and reasonable with good value. We recommend this to those who experience our kimono rental for the first time or want to experience kimono reasonably and easily. Also, the stock is especially abundant for those who want to choose simple designed kimono or calm-colored one. We also recommend this to those who want to enjoy the coordination of colorful obi, accessories and kimono. Look beautiful and take a stroll around town with images to commemorate the experience.

  • You will receive confirmation of your booking's availability within 1 business day. Once confirmed, we will send you the voucher via email
  • In the event that you do not receive an email from us, please check your Spam folder or notify us via email
Sample itinerary
  • Arrive at kimono rental store (30 minutes for rental selection, fitting, hair setup)
  • Meet the photographer at the prescribed time and place per your itinerary details
  • Photographer captures the best moments for you, candidly or stage, per your choice
  • Garments must be returned to the shop on the same day or the next day at least 30 minutes before the shop closes

  • Address: Tokyo-to Taitoh-ku Asakusa 1-41-8 Atelier Building
    • From Tsukuba Express Asakusa Station: Exit gate 5 of the station, go on your right side. Pass the entertainment hall and go straight to Rock Street, Sensoji direction. You will see the store on your right on Rock street.
    • From Kaminarimon Gate, Tobu Asakusa subway station: Get through the gate and get on Nakamise street towards Sensoji Temple. Right before Sensoji Temple gate, turn right onto "Denbouin Street" where many jinrikisha are around. Go ahead for about 200 meters till you find a 5-ways intersection, you will see a sign saying "Atelier" which is our store!
